Lenawee Youth Leadership Day Camp

The Lenawee Community Foundation will be hosting its annual Lenawee Youth Leadership camp from June 20-22 at the Stubnitz Environmental Education Center in Adrian. All Lenawee County youth ages 12-19 are encouraged to register. The camp is designed to help both youth with leadership experience who want to build on their existing skills, and youth who are new to leadership.

Lenawee Youth Leadership helps participants’ leadership skills, such as creative problem-solving, teamwork, interpersonal communication, and goal-setting. Participants also learn about Lenawee County and increase their self-awareness. The camp is also a great way to meet teens from throughout

There is a $50 fee to attend Lenawee Youth Leadership. Scholarships are available for those who qualify. Any youth interested in exploring leadership beyond the camp, as well as youth who cannot attend Lenawee Youth Leadership, should check out the Lenawee Youth Council, another program of the Lenawee Community Foundation. Lenawee Youth Council participants volunteer, make grants, explore careers, and go on college visits. For information about Lenawee Youth Council e-mail paula@lenaweecf.com or spenser@lenaweecf.com, like Lenawee YOUTH Council on Facebook, or follow @YouthLenawee on Twitter.
