Lenawee Cares campaign raises over $405,000 for local nonprofits
Thanks to the generosity of community members, corporate partners, and Lenawee Cares Pillars, Lenawee Cares raised $405,839 during the 2025–26 campaign, bringing the total invested in Lenawee County nonprofits to more than $4 million since the program began in 2016.
Lenawee Community Foundation Announces Planned Leadership Transition
The Lenawee Community Foundation Board of Directors has announced that President & CEO Bronna Kahle will retire from her leadership role effective December 31, 2026, following a successful period of growth and expanded community impact for the Foundation. The Board has also announced that Paula Trentman, currently Executive Vice President of the Lenawee Community Foundation, will succeed Kahle as President & CEO beginning January 1, 2027.

Attendance is free; however, registration is required.

Lenawee Community Foundation Welcomes Herrick Foundation Grants & Programs Fellow
Lenawee County will benefit from added capacity to support local needs with the addition of Madison Roberts as the Lenawee Community Foundation’s Herrick Foundation Grants & Programs Fellow. This new role is focused on listening, learning, and working alongside community partners. Roberts will help strengthen grants, scholarships, and programs that improve everyday life for Lenawee residents. Her work will support children, families, seniors, veterans, and neighbors across the county—helping build a healthier, happier, and more hopeful Lenawee.
