Community spirit will be on full display as volunteers join forces for the annual Lenawee Cares Bagging for a Difference event at Adrian Country Market.
From noon to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 21, shoppers can make a difference simply by saying “yes” to having their groceries bagged by a local volunteer and by offering a generous tip to support their neighbors in need.
Each dollar raised through this friendly, feel-good event will help fund basic needs right here in Lenawee County, providing critical support for local nonprofits and families who need it most.
“Every bag, every tip, every smile adds up to something powerful – hope,” said Haley Entmaa, chair of the Lenawee Cares Committee and Lenawee Community Foundation board member. “When our community comes together, we ensure that everyone in Lenawee has access to food, shelter, and support in times of need.”
This annual event is part of the Lenawee Cares campaign, a program of the Lenawee Community Foundation, which connects people who care with causes that matter. Proceeds stay local, helping to provide health, happiness, and hope across Lenawee County.
Community members are encouraged to stop by Adrian Country Market on November 21, show their support, and help make a difference one grocery bag at a time.
