Supporting Nonprofits, Youth, and Community Growth

At the Lenawee Community Foundation, we believe in neighbors helping neighbors. Through our grantmaking, we invest in programs that strengthen Lenawee County, enhancing health, happiness, and hope for all who live here.

Our grants support local nonprofit and youth-led initiatives that address community challenges, create opportunities, and make life better for Lenawee residents. Each request is carefully reviewed based on community impact, sustainability, and available resources.

Nonprofit Grantmaking

We support nonprofit organizations that serve Lenawee County residents in areas such as civic engagement, culture, health, education, and social services.

Priority is given to projects that demonstrate measurable impact and long-term benefit for our community.

Many of our funds are donor restricted, so not all are open for public application. Unrestricted and flexible funds provide support for the competitive grants offered each year. All grant recommendations are reviewed by the Lenawee Community Foundation Board of Directors.
