Flexible Community Assets for Lenawee County.
For more than 25 years, the Lenawee Community Foundation has partnered with donors to strengthen our community through grants, scholarships, and local initiatives that improve the wellbeing of our neighbors. However, the Foundation is often unable to fund critical nonprofit programs and community projects because there is not a designated fund to match the request.
To stay responsive to urgent needs and future opportunities, we created the Lenawee Health, Happiness, and Hope Fund (H3 Fund), a flexible community endowment that ensures we’re ready to meet challenges as they arise. While many donors give to specific causes, unrestricted gifts are vital for addressing emerging issues and seizing new opportunities.
