Greetings Lenawee Community!
I have some great news to share with you. The Lenawee Community Foundation will be moving into their new home in Adrian sometime in mid-June. Your Lenawee Community Foundation Team has been hard at work getting ready for the move and the excitement that comes with it.
Some people have asked, “why are you moving”? The simple answer is that we will be in a more visible location, be centrally located in Lenawee County and our new space gives us an opportunity to have a community room. We will make this room available to non-profits and business that may have a need for a meeting space.
Although our name will remain the same, we are taking this opportunity to revisit our logo and our brand promise. We look forward to sharing this and more with you as we get closer to our actual move date. Our new address will be 1440 West Maumee Street, or better known as the office between Jimmy Johns and Wesco. Once we have settled in, we will hold an open house for all to visit and celebrate with us.
“Your” Lenawee Community Foundation connects people and resources to build a more vibrant community. We do this by doing three things; we help people make their charitable giving more impactful, we connect funding to effective nonprofits through grantmaking, and we provide leadership to address community needs, which will improve the quality of life for all.
Let me quickly introduce your Lenawee Community Foundation Team:
Paula Trentman, Vice President: Programs/Scholarships/Development
Cynthia Heady, Development Officer/Marketing and Communications/Events
Janie Colton, Office and Facilities Manager/Lenawee Cares Coordinator/Website Management
Jim Southard, Director of Accounting and Technology
Please feel free to reach out to any team member to assist you or just to answer your questions on how we can serve you. We look forward to Inspiring Local and Lasting Change. Together!
