All proceeds benefit the Lenawee Imagination Library. How does the Lenawee Imagination Library help the community?
- Delivers a new age-appropriate book each month to all registered Lenawee children between the ages of 0 to 5 years.
- Partners with the Dollywood Foundation, which discounts the cost and mails the books. They do not allow us to charge families so every child can be served.
- The Lenawee Imagination Library is sponsored by the Lenawee Community Foundation which pays $30.00 per child for 12 books per year.
- Helping children get the books that are appropriate for their specific age assists with 90% of their brain development that would typically occur between the ages of 0 to 5 years of age.
- The Lenawee Imagination Library also helps prepare children for higher education from kindergarten and byond.
