Securing Britton’s Future
Local giving. Lasting value.
You live here.
Britton is your home community.
No one cares about Britton as much as you and other residents here.
You have an opportunity to help your neighbors today, and make Britton’s future better.
The Britton Area Fund in the Lenawee Community Foundation has been established to provide for Britton’s future. This endowment will last forever with the earnings utilized in Britton in the areas of civic, cultural, health, educational, or social services. And, we will count on local residents to recommend grants that will best serve Britton.
Today and for the Future:
You can give back to your community today, through an annual gift, and in the future, through your will or estate plan.
Today, a gift to the Britton Area Fund will build a stronger community and qualify for a federal tax deduction if you itemize.
A lifetime or planned gift to the Britton Area Fund will help to secure the future of your community and a federal tax deduction if you itemize.
If the Britton Area Fund is one of your choices, the Lenawee Community Foundation can accept a variety of gifts, such as appreciated assets, real estate, a life insurance policy, an IRA, or retirement account. Or, you may wish to consider a gift from which you can receive life income. You can also make a bequest through a codicil to your will or an amendment to your trust. (Sample language is provided.)
